GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE

These terms and conditions (hereinafter referred to as the "Terms of Sale") define the terms and conditions under which the company S.G.H.T.B. Société de Gestion Hôtelière et Touristique Bartholoméenne (hereinafter referred to as "the Hotel" or "Rêve de Saint Barth") provides its clients (hereinafter the “Client(s)”) with an online reservation service available on the website www.reve-de-saint-barth.com (hereinafter the “Site”), as further described below.
Prior to any reservation on the Site, the Client declares that they have full legal capacity to accept and be bound by these Terms of Sale. The Client is invited to read these Terms carefully. Acceptance of the Terms of Sale is mandatory before making any reservation. Clients are encouraged to save and print these Terms using the standard features of their browser.
The Hotel reserves the right to modify or update these Terms of Sale at any time. The updated version will be available on the Site with its effective date. Clients are advised to regularly consult the Terms of Sale. Only the version in effect at the time of the booking will be binding.
1. PURPOSE
The Site allows for booking accommodations offered by Rêve de Saint Barth.
Key features, availability dates, prices, available options, payment conditions, and specific terms related to the selected rate (guarantee policy, cancellation terms, check-in time, etc.) are presented throughout the booking process.
Clients are invited to specify special requests (e.g. baby equipment, food allergies, pets) in the space provided. Note: pets are not allowed in dining areas for hygiene reasons.
Extras such as wellness treatments, breakfast, or additional services may also be booked online or on-site, depending on availability unless otherwise stated.
2. RESERVATION
The online booking process includes:

Step 1: Selection of dates and optional promo code,

Step 2: Search results and choice of accommodation and rate,

Step 3: Selection of extras,

Step 4: Booking summary (stay duration, included options, total price including taxes). The Client provides estimated arrival time, special requests, personal details (name, email, phone), and payment information. Confirmation requires ticking the acceptance box of these Terms of Sale.

Step 5: Booking acknowledgment by the Hotel (dates, extras, total price).
Booking is considered confirmed once the Client clicks "Book".
Prepaid bookings require clicking “Pay Now”. Clients may reserve up to two accommodations via the Site. For more than two, they must contact the Hotel by phone (+590 590 29 28 98) or email (reservation@reve-de-saint-barth.com).
Check-in: from 3:00 PM, Check-out: before 12:00 PM (local time).
Early check-in or late check-out requests must be submitted and may incur additional charges. A valid ID is required at check-in.
3. PRICES
Prices are shown before, during, and after the booking process, per accommodation, for selected dates and occupants, including any extras.
At confirmation, the total price including taxes and tourist tax is displayed.
Extras not selected during booking are not included in the price.
Prices include VAT applicable on the reservation date. Any changes in VAT or new legal taxes will be applied accordingly.
Some promotional offers are exclusive to the Site. Clients who opt for immediate payment benefit from a 10% discount on the accommodation rate (excluding extras).
4. PAYMENT
The Client provides payment details to either:

Guarantee the reservation (deferred payment), or
-
Prepay the booking under the "Pay Now & Save 10%" offer.
Secure online payments are processed via Verifone. The Client enters their card number (no spaces), expiry date (valid during the stay), and CVV. The card may be declined (e.g. blocked, stolen, over limit). In case of issues, the Client must contact their bank and the Hotel.
Accepted methods: Visa, Mastercard (subject to change).
The card used must be presented at check-in.
Prepayment
The total amount, including taxes (except tourist tax) and selected extras, is charged at the time of booking.
No refunds will be given for cancellations, modifications, or no-shows. An electronic invoice will be emailed. A paper invoice can be requested.
Pre-reservation
In case of a non-prepaid reservation, the card is used for guarantee only. Payment is due at check-in. No-shows without cancellation will be charged as per the cancellation policy.
The Hotel may request a pre-authorization at check-in to cover on-site expenses.
5. CANCELLATION POLICY

"Pay Now & Save 10%" bookings are non-refundable and non-modifiable.

Other bookings can be modified or canceled free of charge up to 24 hours before arrival.

After this deadline or in case of no-show, 100% of the first night will be charged.
6. NO RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
As per Article L.221-28 of the French Consumer Code, online bookings for accommodation on specific dates are not subject to a right of withdrawal.
7. CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES

The Client is solely responsible for their choice and for accurate information.

The Client agrees to comply with the law, the Hotel’s rules, and these Terms.

Any fraudulent action may result in cancellation at the Client’s expense.

Smoking is strictly prohibited throughout the property.

Any disorderly, offensive, or illegal behavior may lead to expulsion without refund.

Clients must treat staff with respect and courtesy.

Minors must be accompanied by an adult with valid ID and, if applicable, written parental authorization.

Clients agree not to use Hotel Wi-Fi for illegal activities or copyright infringement.
8. FORCE MAJEURE
In the event of force majeure, mutual obligations are suspended. If the situation lasts more than 30 days, either party may terminate without compensation.
If the booked accommodation cannot be provided, the Hotel may offer an alternative or issue a full refund (for prepaid bookings).

10. PERSONAL DATA – BLOCTEL
Collected data is processed by S.G.H.T.B. and its partners for booking purposes. The Privacy Policy is available on the Site.
As per Article L.223-1 of the Consumer Code, Clients may opt out of phone marketing via www.bloctel.gouv.fr.
11. MISCELLANEOUS
Accepting the Terms electronically creates a binding contract.
If any provision is invalid, the others remain in effect.
The French version prevails in case of dispute.
The Hotel may assign these Terms without prior Client consent.
12. GOVERNING LAW – DISPUTE RESOLUTION
These Terms are governed by French law.
